The past year has been one of many twist and turns. I was working on the Rocketo books, when other things besides the New World took control. One of the ideas that I did manage to publish, is in the Popgun Vol 2 from Image Comics, a short story called Belukha. The character has been dear to me for a while, and I have been working on building the world that he lives in.  During the blitz of creation I manage to squeeze out tons of small paintings for the project, and I will be posting many of them here. The paintings are very small I think four by seven is the largest. They are done very quickly to get the idea of a possible scene in my mind. More Belukha: The Ghost Whale will be coming soon.

  1. Belukha the Ghost Whale!?! Best. Thing. Ever.

I continue to marvel at the intensity and liveliness of these paintings. The vibrance that springs out from a seemingly loose collection of brushstrokes. The comics world is darn lucky to have such a genuine artist working in its industry.

I am thrilled to hear that Rocketo's story continues to be told. I admit I've been disappointed about the delay getting new material, but I think I can cope. This blog really helps. ;)

Thank you so much for continuing with this work.

One of the main reasons for this blog is to alert the fans that Rocketo will continue, and to keep everyone in the loop. Lots of more stuff to be posted and talked about so please keep tuning in.
